HIPSHAKIN' & FINGERSNAPPIN' POOLSIDE MUSIC WITH HAWAIIAN FLAVOR - The term "Ohana" includes people with whom there is no kinship, but trust, connection or love. Ohana thus also counts friends as family and all those who mean something to us. This compilation is dedicated to those certain Ohana-moments. As stimulating and refreshing as a tropical pool full of fresh spring water.
It represents the Hawaiian touch of many qualities: danceable, rhythmical, sentimental - unforgettable in its attitude - always with tha certain swing in its step. Transporting music - as well as Waikiki-style lovers - to that wonderful atmosphere with that certain array of exotic flavor. Jens Galler (aka DJ Buddy Belpaso) is an experienced and passioned DJ and record collector, many people remember these wild nights where he played records with his friend El Vidocq. Being with "Ohana-people", drinkin' cocktails and listening to exotic music inspired him to compile this record. He prepared this selection of outstanding Hawaiian and Hawaii related songs from the rich assortment of his 7-inch record collection.
They are skillfully combined into an album providing a variety wich we are certain you'll find most pleasing. Wether you are young or old, want to swim to music or listen in relaxation enjoying an exotic cocktail with you Ohana-friends - the mood is perfectly set with 'Ohana Hawaiiana.'
